Smith & Wesson, .38 M&P (Post War) - Pre-Model 10 Transitional Model, CAL: 38 S&W SPL, MFG: 1945-48, SN: S954511, Double Action Revolver, 5'' barrel. The S&W logo medallion checkered wood grips are excellent. There are a couple minor nicks & dings to the finish. The original metal blue finish rate 98% overall. Case-hardened hammer & trigger retain excellent case-colors. Bore is excellent. Integral square notch rear sight & blade front sight. An excellent example of a Transitional Model S&W Pre-Model 10. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 700 to 1200
