Colt, Model 1908 Vest Pocket Hammerless, CAL: .25 ACP, MFG: 1909, SN: 3180, Semi Auto Pistol, 2'' barrel. Low serial number & early 2nd year production. The authentic Colt grips are very good, without chips or cracks. They have worn or are fading mostly brown. The metal; blue finish rates 85% on frame & 80% on slide, with loss due to oxidization, speckling & light pitting. All the stampings on the pistol are crisp. The color-casehardened safety catch, grip safety, & trigger display case-colors. Bore is very good. Small notch sights. This 1908 still presents very nicely. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 300 to 600
