German, Fichtel & Sachs Schweinfurt (ZF Sachs AG), M1898/05 a/A ''Butcher Blade'' Bayonet with sheath, 1916 MFG, wood grooved grips, has flash guard of new model & the partial muzzle ring ''high ears'' of the old model, un finished metal with spots of patina. The left side of blade is marked with two crossed keys over ''FICHTEL & SACHS'', ''SCHWEINFURT''. Spine of blade marked crown over ''E'', ''16'', & another crown proof. Left side of quillon marked ''1168''. Grade: Excellent - Value: 150 to 300
