Description

RARE Winchester, Model 1873 16'' Trapper (Baby Carbine) Saddle Ring Carbine, Third model, .44 WCF Cal., MFG: 1890, SN:324028, Lever Action Carbine, 16'' Round barrel, Full mag. This carbine was thoroughly & professionally restored back to factory standards. For most, it would pass as all original. The wood stocks are excellent, with virtually no handling marks. The Trapper 8'' length forend dost have a 2'' stress crack at the tip. Wood remains proud to the metal. The metal blue finish rates 99% overall. The case-hardened lever, buttplate & hammer display strong case-colors. The loading gate & dust cover have the correct oxide blue. Fitted with original 1873 ladder rear sight & box carbine front sight. Bore is excellent. Stock carries a sliding trapdoor carbine metal buttplate. The carbine come with a Cody Winchester lookup sheet, which confirms dates & configuration. This is an overall excellent condition & very rare 1873 SRC trapper, which is very collectible.* NO FFL Req. - Value: 12000 to 20000
