Description

Elaborate Pair of Russian Flintlock Dueling Pistols, marked 1810, Cladded in silver plates, which were blued & then highly engraved offering a beautiful two tone appearance. The gold inlayed locks could be Spanish, 19'' OAL, Wonderful design & appearance. They appear to function well, Both carry ram rods, One pistol is missing about 1/2'' of a backstrap plate, a few small pins missing along with one screw, otherwise a fantastic set of very early dueling pistols & a wonderful example of silversmithing, Very rare & hard to find. Please utilize the many photos as a significant part of the description as we are limited in our knowledge & history of these elaborate & fantastic pistols.* No FFL Req. - Value: 10000 to 20000
