Winchester, Model 1895, marked 30 (.30 US or .30-40 Krag Army), MFG. 1904, SN: 48XXX, Lever Action, 22'' round barrel, Saddle ring carbine, second variation, Wood is very good+, solid and original, with finish thinning and typical handling scuffs and marks from use, military style top wood handguard and military ladder sight, Metal is 80% on the barrel, receiver mag and lever are evenly worn with a nice patina to about 35%, These military style SRC 1895's are desirable and collectible, especially when in nice original condition as this specimen.
