Description

FANTASTIC Winchester, Model 1873, Third variation, .32 Cal., MFG. 1883, SN: 121140, Lever Action Rifle, 24'' round barrel, Button mag, The original wood stocks are excellent & solid. Wood finish is original with some minor handling marks, nicks & dings. The factory metal blue on barrel is 75% with a couple of areas of rust pit scaring & speckling. The loading gate & dust cover retain a majority of the original oxide blue. The case-hardened receiver, lever, hammer & trigger shows wonderful & vivid case-colors. Bore is excellent, with some haze. Fitted with the original special ordered flip-up adjustable aperture tang peep sight, buckhorn rear sight & flip-up Beach gold globe front sight. Metal crescent buttplate, Original dust cover is tight & slides smoothly. Comes with a Cody Winchester factory letter confirming present configuration with the special order sights.
