Description

Winchester, Model 61, Marked .22 Short, MFG. 1932 FIRST YEAR Example, SN: 5089, Pump Action Take-down Rifle, 24'' Tapered octagon barrel, Early pre-war small forearm. Factory flat knob pistol grip wood is excellent with the majority of the original finish present, thinning on the forend. Very few minor bumps to the finish. Factory blue is at 95% on all surfaces, with most loss visible due to pump action. A few small areas of rust speckling starting. Metal buttplate, Factory sights. Bore is excellent & bright. Examples like this with early small forend, short only caliber & an octagon barrel in such high condition are highly collectible.* FFL or C&R Req - Value: 3000 to 4500
