WONDERFUL Connecticut Shotgun MFG Co., Model RBL28, 28 GAUGE, MFG. Mid recent, SN: RBL003607, Double Shotgun, 28'' FULL/MOD barrel 2 3/4'' 421 marked frame, LOP 14 1/8'', DAC 1 1/2'', DAH 2 1/2'', 5.8lbs, Fabulous double 28ga. in the original hard case with leather trim, has rosewood 2pc cleaning rod, snap caps, metal oil bottle, ear plugs in original aluminum case, both swab & brush are unused & in original wrapping plus a key. This fine example appears to be New In Case (NIC). Retaining all of its blued finish on barrels & trigger guard. The receiver carries vivid case-colors. Minty mirror bores. The engraved receiver has two different pointing dogs, one on each side with a ruffed Grouse on bottom with lots of scroll engraving. Untouched screws, single gold trigger. Engraved pistol grip cap, Exceptional figure & color in the wood, with excellent checkering & varnish. Black buttplate. A very finely crafted & collectible 28 Gauge double that is NIC.
