U.S. Springfield Armory, M1C Garand Rebuild, MFG: 1944, Cal. .30-06, S/N: 3373336, Semi auto action rifle, 24'' Barrel, Wonderful Post WWII Armory rebuilt & sold by the Civilian Marksmanship Program with Authenticating Certificate. The walnut stock is excellent with armory finish & carries two circle ''P'' stamps behind the trigger guard on the pistol grip. The flat portion of the pistol grip is stamped with ''13''. The left side of buttstock carries a faint rectangular cartouche behind the cheek pad. The leather cheek pad is the correct military issued to sniper & produced by K Line MFG. Receiver is marked ''US RIFLE CAL. 30 M1 SPRINGFIELD ARMORY 3373336''. Trigger Group marked ''REV-12-SA'' & OP rod marked ''REV9 SA''. Barrel is marked ''SA11-52''. SN on the Griffen & Howe steel scope mount with steel rings is 3,512,364, with both levers right hand threaded. The Lyman Alaskan scope is within transitional SN range ''5742'', with early numbered adjustment caps #7575180 & 1/2 knurl. Scope is correctly not marked ''ALL-WEATHER'' as later civilian models were. All metal surfaces carry a flat military finish with a blued triggerguard. Rifle carries standard receiver & front sights, bayonet lug & sling loops. Bore is excellent. Metal trapdoor buttplate. Overall excellent & rare Armory rebuilt M1C.
