Remington Model 1894 CEO Grade, CAL: 10 GA, MFG: 1907, SN: P135970, Break Action SxS Shotgun. 27 1/8'' Ordnance steel barrels, (were likely professionally shortened). Choke: MOD/F. Fourth highest grade by Remington. 10 ga. examples are rare in this model, with few ''C'' grades having been produced fewer known survivors in higher grades. The receiver, trigger guard, forearm & break lever display intricate floral/ornamental engraving. The checkered, round pistol grip wood stocks are excellent, exhibiting minor contusions, nicks & dings after a light sanding & refinish. The metal blue finish on the barrel is a mix of original & an added restored finish, with 95% coverage overall with some light blemishes & scuffs. The case-hardened receiver has toned to a true gun metal grey with some light coverage of a browning patina. Bores are very good with some light spotting in the left barrel. The solid, matted rib carries a small mid-rib & large front Lyman Ivory bead sights. Buttstock holds an original Remington checkered buttplate (with tiny toe chip) & Silver unmarked oval. LOP: 14 1/8'', DAH: 2 5/8'', DAC: 1 5/8'', 10lbs. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 1000 to 2000
