Description

Marlin Firearms Co. Model 30 Grade C, CAL: 16GA, MFG: 1909-1916, SN: A10109, Pump Action Shotgun, Choke: F, 28'' barrel. This shotgun was fully refinished at one time. The receiver displays engraving with added gold paint to highlight the hand engraving. The left side has (4) ducks flying to a pond setting with ornamental scroll engraving border & the right side has (2) doves flying with similar ornamental scroll engraving borders. The checkered, pistol grip wood stocks are excellent, the buttstock has been cut down, with only a few small nicks & dings to the wood or finish. They appear to have been lightly sanded with an additional layer of finish or varnish. The metal blue was refinished & rates 70% overall on the barrel, mag tube & receiver. The barrel carries a front sight bead. Buttstock carries a solid red rubber recoil pad. LOP: 12 3/4''. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 800 to 1500
