Swedish Mauser Model M96, CAL: 6.5 X 55 Swede, MFG 1908, SN: 233012, Swedish made bolt action, 29'' barrel. Two piece original walnut stocks w/ original oil finish. Straight grip stock with grasping groves inletted, stocks have scattered scratches/dings/cracks throughout both lower & upper handguard, buttstock has brass ID disk inletted with barrel condition.. Military style metal butt plate gun metal grey color w/ lots of small dings.. Barrel retaining about 25% bluing with some scratching on the exposed portion above handguard. Receiver showing 30% bluing. Receiver ring marked with Swedish crown C CARL GUSTAFS STADS GEVARFAKTORI 1908'', left side of receiver shows serial number. Rear sight is adjustable w/ graduation marks 3,4,5, 6 on top of ladder & 7 to 20 on bottom of ladder. Front sight is windage adjustable dovetailed blade. Bore is slightly darkening from use/age. Steel cleaning rod present . Mechanical function is good. Matching serial numbers on receiver, bolt, buttplate, magazine floorplate. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 300 to 600
